My Buzz

From the minute the tweet announced our #SBS win we were inundated with new followers and congratulatory messages and hopefully this will help to spread the word.

My Bio

We are a new small wedding transport business launched in January 2014 as a partnership and became a limited company in July 2014. We own a garage/bodyshop and I work full-time in education and following the purchase of a camper (Daisy) last year for personal use, we were inundated after its restoration from wedding transport companies wanting to hire or purchase it from us, as well as people asking if we could do weddings. We came to the conclusion that we should have a go ourselves and tested the water by providing transport FOC for a friend's daughter and loved it! We then took the decision to go full steam ahead and searched for another, this time a Split Screen Samba (Delilah) who was in a sorry state and had been imported from Arizona several years ago and left in storage. Whilst work began restoring Delilah by Tony, I began marketing and meeting with accountant and bank manager as well as planning our launch at a wedding fair in January. Difficulties with HMRC and DVLA on registering and awaiting a "birth certificate" from the VW Museum in Germany did not stop our launch as we put Delilah on a trailer to the exhibition.
Since then we have purchased Dotty and she is at the final stages of restoration and Dolly that we are converting into an ice cream/candy van and she will be available in 2015.
