Now that I have my own business I am lucky to be able to work with my private and corporate clients to create & style one off bespoke events. I am able to live the dream I chased for so long!
My Bio
I launched Do Events Limited in 2010. I decided to go it alone after working for a number of high profile UK arts and media organisations, including the Edinburgh International Television Festival, Royal Society of Arts and D&AD.
During my career I have also worked for Deloitte Consulting, Reuters and have several years of experience of the charity sector. I'm also an experienced sales and marketing professional and my personal clients have included: Credit Suisse, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Lehman Brothers, Barclays, Diageo and Sony BMG. Over the last 14 years, I have organised large scale Corporate Events, Dinners, Awards Nights, VIP Receptions, Press Launches and Fundraising Events for a number of organisations.
My Business Tips
It is hugely rewarding to own and run your own business and I am proud and pleased when I look back over the past 5 years at what I have achieved. My business has grown in such a short time and I wish I had more time to reflect on what I have achieved. There is never enough time when you run your own business! I work on it day and night! Social Media has been one of the most important things for my business and its growth. Winning Awards like #SBS makes all the the hard work worth it and it is fantastic to be recognised by Theo Paphitis.
