My Bio

My kids rebelled they all got degrees, & you got a first at Chelsea',
according to my dad, who loves the hippie lifestyle, it was clear from an early age that I was creative & going to do something about it. To me it was natural, I thought everyone was instinctively creative. I thank my Grandma who, in an age when women weren’t meant to work, became an incredible designer & dearly wanted my mum to be the same but it was me who followed in her footsteps.

I grew up in the 80s & was the only retro kid at school, inspired by the 50s, fancying Elvis, going to Rock ‘n’ Roll dances in prom dresses while the rest fancied Jason Donovan & wore shell suits. I kept up with the times although the next decade for me Was the 60s when at sixteen I embraced the Mod attitude. Now I bring together the best from these exciting decades & the 00s to shape & form the way in which I design. I love to see the whole picture & then hone in to explore the many different facets within. Always researching, discovering & pushing to further myself but then draw the attitude & energy
from the eras that still have a profound influence on me & many others.
