My Bio

BEDROAM® was created back in September 2011. The idea came about whilst I was in hospital after a serious motorbike accident. After years of competing around the country racing motorbikes, and sleeping in the back of a van, it gave me the time to think why there wasn’t more mobile accommodation available. I wanted to create mobile accommodation which would provide luxury sleeping/living quarters and give customers a truly unique and memorable experience.

BEDROAM® is a converted Neoplan Sykyliner bus which was built in 1988. The dream started to become a reality when I purchased the bus back in 2012. At the time it was being used by a Motorbike team based down south. It had a fully working kitchen and a couple of sofas in the top deck. The bottom deck was used to store their motorbikes.

The layout of the bus started to take shape after intensive research into all the different types of accommodation available (both mobile and static). The Japanese Style Hotel Pods had caught my eye. The design could be incorporated into the layout of the bus providing a minimalist, relaxing environment for guests. The rest of the layout evolved from the initial pod idea. In 2014 the bus had been fully converted into the impressive vehicle now known as BEDROAM®. The main features are 18 Luxury Pods, 2 Stylish bathrooms and a large multi- functional awning.

BEDROAM® can be used for so many different events; Weddings, Birthday Parties, Glamping Holidays, Corporate Events. As well as bringing BEDROAM® to the customers site, we also have the option of providing a private woodland setting for Glamping weekends. We have had guests from as far away as Austria. Recently we were visited by a group who had travelled up from London for a Glamping Weekend in May. Our guests had a fun-packed 2 days; starting with a day spent exploring the many attractions York has to offer, followed by an evening of Birthday celebrations back at base. The woodland opening provided the perfect space to engage in both Cricket and Rounders' before our guests enjoyed a BBQ and Champagne around the camp fire.

I still continue to race motorbikes and now have far more luxurious mobile accommodation for race days.
