Hello I'm Jo, I'm married and a Mum to Peter, Immy & Thomas. I live on the south coast of England and have always been infatuated with the coast, I have been sewing since I was 5 years old and love it as much today as I did back then! In 2015, I decided to merge my two passions to create my quirky, little textile design business - The Seaside Sew......

I have always loved to be creative in some shape or form. It all started with a simple hanging beach hut - which has now become my signature design. For most of my designs I use my own custom made patterns. I've just acquired a vintage Singer 201K which I love to use to make my creations. Heaven for me is sourcing good quality, beautiful fabrics and I hope to introduce some new, exciting designs, featuring cork leather! I have a keen eye for colour and design so you can be assured that your item will be totally unique.
