My Buzz
Hello. I am David Rundle, Owner at Blue Star St Andrews.
Blue Star was founded in 2014 offering cleaning services to private and commercial properties within the St Andrews area. Since launching we have steadily grown and developed, so now offer home help services to customers and we have recently we launched our own range of Eco-friendly Cleaning products.
I have always been drawn to helping other people and this business has allowed me to use my caring nature to make a massive impact on may peoples lives - sometimes its as simple as sitting having a chat with someone or taking them out and about. Our services are able to change and grow as a persons needs dictate and we have many customers that started this journey with us over 3 years ago. I have often found that not only are we their to support the customer requiring the additional help but also offer much needed reassurance and peace of mind to their family and friends.
I see the company as a support to local council services that are already under a lot of strain and find that we are often bridging the gap between those requiring purely cleaning and those requiring a full care package.
I will leave you with some food for though -

My Bio
Blue Star is a small family business offering bespoke cleaning and home help services to both private and commercial customers. We do not believe in a one-size fits all approach and do not like the idea of holding our customers to ransom with a tying long term contract. Unlike our competitor we want you to stay with Blue Star because you are completely satisfied with the service, not because you have signed a minimum service contract.
The owner, David Rundle has many years of experience in home care and home help services as well as over 12 years management experience. With having the business and also a young family he understands the pressure of everyday life and the struggle to balance this.
The first few weeks were really difficult and David could not have build the business without the help from his wife, family and friends. With no steady income and 3 kids at home the whole family really needed to pull together so there were many late nights and early morning where David, his wife and kids relentlessly posted fliers through as many letter boxes as possible. This teamwork and determination really paid off and within a few months the business began to thrive.
