My Bio

Hello! My name is Magghi Mclean and I set up Puffinpatchworks in 2010 in Edinburgh to design and sell patchwork cushions and quilts.

I now live in the beautiful South West of Scotland in Galloway and use mainly tweed and tartan to make uniquely designed quilts and cushions. Using this wonderfully textured fabric I am able to reflect the landscape and wildlife of Scotland.

The ethos of the business is to re-use and recycle as much as possible. All Tweed Mills and Kilt Makers have fabric off-cuts and it is these that feature in my work. The wadding I use in my quilts is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Comissions and Trade enquiries welcome.
