LITTLE BEAU SHEEP

Today, Little Beau Sheep is the proud producer of a hand-made laundry and body care range packed with the power of natural British wool and soothing lanolin. But where did it all start?

Little Beau Sheep came into the world two and a half years ago when as a family, we were temporarily housed in a tiny flat whilst major work was being done on our home proper. With perfect timing, I was also up to my neck in romper suits and nappies as my two delightful daughters were still very young.

With no yard for drying laundry, the tumble dryer became my guilty indulgence. Ever conscious of its environmental effect, I invested in plastic dryer balls to at least try and speed up the process. Alas, the noise in the flat was unbearable and I was also introducing more plastic into the world!

As a keen felter – and an ardent lover of all things wool – I got to thinking about the softening power of natural lanolin and how good it would be for my little ones’ clothes. (It had already come to the rescue of my youngest’s skin condition.) I set to work and the first all-natural-pure-wool-hand-made-super-softening-dryer-balls came into being. In an effort to make laundry fun – an appease my creative muse – each ball also had an authentic sheep face woven in. Little Beau Sheep was born.
