My Buzz
At The Garden Company, we create places of enduring meaning and value through expert design and landscaping. Established in 1991, today we employ 20 people - a small office-based team plus landscapers and gardeners working on client sites every day.
As a company, we understand the transformative quality of great garden design. Our creative and award winning work is rich in detail and drawn from years of expertise and experience. We nurture and support our clients and partners every step of the way, evolving our ideas and our approach to suit every individual project’s needs Our garden designs bring enduring value to our clients’ lives and we are recognised for our work and our commitment to the industry.
My Bio
I first developed a love of plants and their place in the greater landscape growing up in the Cotswolds, where I spent many hours with my grandparents - keen gardeners of their one-acre garden in the Slad valley. I studied Landscape Design at Merrist Wood College in Surrey where I was awarded the accolade of ‘Best Design Student’. Since establishing The Garden Company in 1991 in my early 20s, we have won numerous awards for the our design and delivery of beautiful gardens throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Middlesex and North London. As Principal Designer, I oversee all work produced by my design team.
I am a fully Registered Member of both the Society of Garden Designers (the only body representing professional garden designers in the UK) and also the British Association of Landscape Industries. Personally, I think the best part of my role is to work closely with nature, collaborate with many talented people and deliver high-quality, beautiful gardens. It is possible in this industry to make a significant positive difference to peoples’ lives and that is a real privilege.
