My Buzz
Winning #SBS resulted in a huge leap in web traffic in the immediate aftermath and I also gained many new followers. Being able to display my #SBS badge on the website to show visitors that Theo gave his seal of approval is the icing on the cake! I think it just helps to give customers that little extra reassurance of our credibility.
My Bio
Having worked in Credit Control for a number of years, in 2001 I left the office behind to bring up my young family. In July of 2011, I decided that it was my time again and embarked upon my journey into the small business world!
A love of dogs was the passion that fuelled my venture, selling gorgeous but affordable dog clothing and accessories via my online pet boutique to like-minded people. I have created and designed my own website, learning valuable skills along the way and am very much looking forward to the future and what it may hold.
My Business Tips
Stay positive even when things seem against you. You'll have good and bad days but stick with it, don't give up!
Take advantage of the wonderful world of social media. It's vital now to any business big or small.
There are many people on social media sites such as Twitter and also on forums that are happy and willing to offer help and guidance. Let them!
Try to be organised! Something I'm not always, but do try to be! If you're organised, you'll be a lot more productive.
