My Bio
Say It With Flours was founded in late 2011 and is a one woman run business, run by me, Braidy Maloney.
I bake to order from my home kitchen in L19, Liverpool, and I love to create custom cakes and cupcakes.
For me, the desire to decorate cakes came after my mother passed away. She was a keen cake decorator, notorious for her wedding cakes, and people would travel miles for them, you could say cake decorating is in the blood.
Family and friends had suggested I go into business, but the leap of faith came when I was asked to sell my cupcakes in my local shop, and the rest, as they say is history.
Now for the important stuff: I am registered with Liverpool City Council, I hold a level 2 in food safety, my kitchen has been inspected, and I have been awarded a 4* food rating. I am insured with public liability insurance.

My Business Tips
I believe that passion, patience and perseverance can get you far in business. It is essential not to expect too much too quickly, so don't be disheartened if your business doesn't thrive straight away, persevere.
Work hard and always want to better yourself. Network wherever possible and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Customer service goes a long way, so always maintain a professional attitude, it will show when you have referred and returned customers.
