Nationwide Ventilation LTD

Trained as an electro/mechanical design engineer with WT Henley’s. Worked with WT Henley’s for 7 years whilst study HNC in mechanical engineering as well as various other CAD courses in both 2D and 3D. Successfully introduced over 12 new ranges of products from low to medium voltage cable joints, cable accessories toand overhead power line insulators. Left WT Henley’s in early 2000, to do contract design and development work for such companies as Lucas Varity, designing automated assembly machinery for their range of diesel pumps. Joined Beacon fabrications LLP in early 2001 as a draughtsman, then rose through organisation to become office manager. Then in September 2005 formed KES (South) LTD, (Along with John Cheeseman, fellow director and shareholder.) which purchased the assets and good will from Beacon fabrications LLP.

We have over the last 7 years doubled the company’s turnover, at the same time realising greater profit margins from a much improved and diverse customer base. In March of 2010 we formed Nationwide Ventilation LTD which is the sales arm to KES (South) LTD. Have been responsible for the sales, marketing, design and technical aspects of the companies, whilst more recently keeping a casting eye over the financial side of the group. Am currently a member of the Federation of Small Business and the Institute of Directors. Now proud to say that I am a Business Enterprise Volunteer, working with the Medway Education Business Partnership, mentor school children doing enterprise projects in Medway. I am also a business mentor for the Young Entrepreneur Society.
