My Bio
Dressage Anywhere was born out of a need - we wanted to compete in dressage competitions but didn't have a horse box or trailer. So we filmed a few tests at our home yard and developed it into an idea!
Dressage Anywhere had been in the making a little while before we launched in 2010 and we're still going strong.
The pandemic meant that everything was cancelled but we became a lifeline for so many dressage riders out there, meaning they could keep up with their training and get expert feedback from our panel of judges.
We have members from around the world and have judged way over 10,000 dressage tests online.
What makes us stand out is our automated platform - from the moment a rider enters a competition to the point at which they receive their feedback/scoresheet, it's all automated (apart from the judging bit - that's done by real people).
My Business Tips
Stay in your lane
A bit cliché, I know. It's easy to get side tracked with what the competition is up to and whilst it's healthy to keep an eye on them, don't let it ruin your day! Stay focussed on what you're doing, where you're going, because there's one thing your competitors don't have and that's YOU!
Get a good accountant
A decent accountant is worth their weight in gold and take the headache out of the end of year accounts.
Keep learning
Make time for learning new skills, whether that's reading business books, following interesting people on social or attending courses. Keep your skills fresh and embrace the new.
