My Buzz
Boogie Beat Music and Movement offers the chance to let children's imaginations come alive. We use traditional stories with an active dance twist, songs, dances, engaging props and we have lots of fun! Our sessions help children to develop confidence and social skills whilst they learn to express themselves in a friendly and relaxed environment.
We run classes and early years workshops in our communities and we offer intergenerational sessions and birthday parties.
We offer franchises across the UK to bring our sessions to more children.
My Bio
I joined Boogie Beat in 2015 as was looking for a better work, life balance to fit around my young family. I had attended several baby groups but there was nothing like Boogie Beat music and movement near me. It would give parents the opportunity to bring more than 1 child to a class, the chance to introduce traditional stories from a young age and the opportunities to sing and dance with their little ones. It also includes lots of fun and engaging props which help to build children's skills and development.
I started my franchise and it really took off! I needed to take on an extra teacher to support me within my first year and now have a team supporting me. Joining a franchise gave me the chance to run my own business but with a proven model. It provided me with all the equipment, training, lesson plans and so much more and I could set off running my business quickly.
At the end of 2021 I was approached by the owners about purchasing Boogie Beat Head office - I was over the moon to be asked. They had founded the company and been running it for over 20 years! I took over ownership in 2022 and am loving running the business. I have introduced new sub logos, new website, new training modules, new equipment and lots more! There is always something to keep me busy with and improving our model.
