Theo Paphitis and Small Business Sunday (#SBS) to give 6 small businesses a further free boost at Autumn Fair 2021
6 #SBS winners will win the chance to have a free exhibition stand at Autumn Fair 2020, giving them exposure and growth opportunity for their businesses. They will join the 12 winners that should have exhibited at Autumn Fair 2020, postponed because of the pandemic.
Theo Paphitis and Small Business Sunday (#SBS) has once again teamed up with Autumn Fair. The #SBS showcase area will once again be dedicated to highlighting new and unique products from the winning #SBS ambitious start-ups and small businesses.
The 6 lucky #SBS winners win a free exhibition stand at this year’s Fair!
The #SBS crew will shortlist 18 entries for a panel of Autumn and Spring Fair experts, from the event organisers, Hyve, to select 6 winners.
The winners will take centre stage at the Fair in the #SBS Pavilion, which runs 5-8 September 2021 at Birmingham NEC, and will gain access to thousands of visitors and buyers ready to order products ahead of the busiest retail period of the year – the Golden Quarter. The 6 winners will join 12 previous winners of this annual competition, who were unable to take their stands at last year’s event due to Covid-19. The #SBS Pavillion will house 18 #SBS winners this year.
#SBS celebrates small businesses in the UK, and each week hundreds of small businesses tweet Theo to secure his endorsement. Every Monday, six of these businesses are then invited to become part of the now 3,300 strong #SBS community, benefiting from boosted publicity and attendance at a yearly conference with access to motivational speakers and workshops.

Autumn Fair/#SBS 2021 Competition Terms and Conditions

The competition will open on Tuesday May 4th at 9pm and will close at 11:59pm on 1st June 2021.

You must be an #SBS winning business to enter and be eligible.

You must be available for 5th-8th September 2021 to exhibit at the Autumn Fair 2021.

To enter the competition, entrants must contact the #SBS Crew on sbs@tpretailgroup.com to request an entry form, complete the form provided and send to SBS@TPRETAILGROUP.COM by 11.59pm 1st June 2021.

Only one entry per business is allowed. Multiple entries will be deemed invalid.

No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

The #SBS crew will shortlist 18 businesses who have entered the competition and give to the Autumn Fair judges panel. Thereafter, 6 winning businesses will be selected by the Autumn Fair panel to win a stand at the Autumn Fair 2021.

The judges’ decision will be final.

We reserve the right to amend or cancel this competition at any time.

No cash alternative shall be provided.

The winning businesses will be alerted by email and must confirm acceptance within 48 hours, or may lose its space.

The winning business’s Company / business name, email address and contact numbers will be shared with Hyve for the sole purpose of them contacting them to arrange details for attending and exhibiting at the Autumn Fair. These details will not be passed onto any other 3rd party.

The winning businesses will liaise with Autumn Fair on agreeing a contract including T&Cs in respect of their space at the Autumn Fair (no money will exchange hands).

Each winning business exhibiting must have public liability insurance to the value of £2m (details in Clause 12 of the Hyve contract). To ensure that all winning businesses who exhibit at the Autumn Fairhave the appropriate level of cover, in the first instance, exhibitors will be initially invoiced £175 + VAT for a policy with our providers InEvexco. Should a business already have adequate insurance coverage, if they send their certificate of insurance to InEvexco, provided that the level of cover meets the requirements, the invoice will be credited immediately so that no payment is required.

The 6 selected winners will be included in event marketing and publicity by #SBS Small Business Sunday, Autumn Fair and Hyve.

The dedicated 2021 section of the #SBS Pavilion is comprised of six booths, each 3.5m x 2m, complete with traditional shell scheme walls, carpet, table, seating, shelving, lighting and a 500w power socket. Any additional requirements of a winning business participating in the event will be at a cost to the winning business.

Travel, accommodation and subsistence is not covered in this prize.

Companies that have already booked space at Autumn Fair 2021 or Spring Fair 2022 will not be eligible to enter the competition to win a free stand at the show.
