OMG, can not believe we actually won the #SBS competition on 14/4/2013 the response has been fantastic, its more or less doubled our followers on Twitter but also on Facebook, and our website. The interest that its created is just second to none, our phones are starting to get busy with new clients who have found us from our #SBS win, its just so fantastic to be part of this new network, Thank you all so Much.
I'm Kevin Colley 27 years old, and run my own small business KGC Engineering, specializing in the Restoration of Classic Cars and other historic transport. Its an interest I've had all my life and it was only natural I got into the industry, after being made redundant 3 years ago I decided to take the plunge and start my own business doing this work. Thankfully its payed off and the business is growing and developing well.
Over the years I've won a few awards, whilst working for others, my most proudest of these is the Title of Young Preservationist of the Year 2010 which was awarded from the Transport Trust, an organization I'm now heavily involved with, who's aims are to preserve our past for the future. This #SBS win now proudly stands next to that award as the first award of recognition for my company.
At the 2015 SBS winners event i was proud to add Theo Paphitis himself to my client list, as i will be restoring his next classic car. i took the opportunity to ask at the question time session, one of those, you don't ask you don't get!
Keep going and Never give up
Follow your dreams, if you believe it will work for you do it
Don't let others take the credit for your work
Be proud of your achievements and your business
If you have a bad day, keep calm and carry on for tomorrow is another day!
If you don't ask, you don't get!
