Out twitter account exploded! We doubled our orders in a 48 hour period and gained 200 extra followers on twitter. The timing of the retweet was brilliant as it was during our extremely busy back to school period. Our orders doubled overnight!
My Bio
We started Stamptastic in 2011 as we felt there was a gap in the market for labelling school uniforms. As mums ourselves we all felt that sewing/ironing labels was too laborious and we wanted a quicker alternative. So we came up with the idea of a special ink and a stamp and after a year in the planning hey presto Stamptastic was born!
My Business Tips
Being a full time mum and running a business is tricky, especially when the busiest time in the work calendar is during the summer holidays! Try and allocate time for work and don't look at your phone/laptop etc in non-work time. Easier said than done.
Networking can sometimes be awkward but go for it. Nothing ventured nothing gained!
Utilise your local Adult Community College. We have attended courses on social media and IT and it's been a brilliant help.
