Starting my business was the best thing for my family, being flexible enough to look after my children and make my own schedule. It is hard work but 100% worth it, I am proud of what I have achieved over the past 5 years and wouldn't change it for the world.

Wee Print is a Scottish graphic design and printing business who specializes in business and promotional print. We offer our services to the whole of the UK.
Wee Print was set-up in January 2010 by myself Jenny Johnston, a mum of two. After receiving my HND in Graphic Design and New Media, there was no jobs available in the local area, so using my experience from working in a Graphic Design and Print shop, going to seminars, courses and networking events I took the plunge and started Wee Print. It has been a very rewarding experience, over the past 5 years I have learned from each experience good or bad. I hope with this experience I can continue to offer my customers good old fashioned quality service.
My Business Tips
Ordering print can be a confusing experience for new buyers; with this in mind we have decided to share our top tips for buying print so you get the best possible results.
• There are different types of printing processes available; lithographic press, digital print press, large format inkjet and screen printing. Discuss with your print provider to determine which would be the most effective for your printing needs to get the most out of your money.
• It is really important to allow enough time from design, print and delivery. If you have an event or are running low on your previous print order, order with plenty of time. Digital printing is ideal for last minute orders but we would recommend having plenty time to discuss with your print providers best option for your order.
• It is essential that you check your file is correct before it goes to print. Have at least one other person to make sure you haven’t missed anything. Check spelling, grammar and make sure numbers are correct.
• Samples are a vital part of the printing process, and can help you see what the end product will look like. There has never been more choice and it is worth taking time to look at different materials and finishes.
