Before I put fingers to keyboard to write my blog and press release on #SBSevent2015, I felt the need to update my Ruggles at leisure blog. As well as linking in with Coombe Mill's #CountryKids, Ruggles at leisure is following my love/hate relationship the 500km running challenge I've set myself this year.
Before I started running at the end of 2014, I hated exercise, I detested sweat, I would back out of anything which made me breathe faster 😉 – but now I am starting to love running…. well finishing a run at least!
I feel such a sense of achievement, I feel like I've pushed my body, I feel like I'm fighting for Skye Hall and I have earnt an extra long soak in the hot tub!
It got me thinking, how do the rest of the hard-working #sbs small business owners relax and un-wind?
In my experience, there isn't much time for a small business owner to relax, unwind and take a break from work.
Running (and the soak in the hot tub) opens my eyes to the beauty around me. It shows me how far I can push my body. It proves to me if I step outside of my comfort zone a little further each day, it's amazing how far I can get down the road.

(Please excuse the zoo animals, Bonnita is in the progress of designing me a swish new header for it.)
I would love to hear your thoughts
