My Buzz
Winning SBS gave me the confidence boost I needed to really niche down with my business and focus all my energy into my obsession, stationery! I quite my full time job just three months later, moved city and took my business full time and I haven't looked back since. It really makes me feel like I am accomplishing something with my business to know that my products and ethos were interesting enough to win the SBS competition. Thank you!
My Bio
I am Alexia Claire and I am a self-confessed stationery addict and illustrator from Leeds. I started Alexia Claire in 2010 from my bedroom, which I quickly outgrew and I now ship my stationery products and designs worldwide each day. It's more than I could have dreamt of to know that people across the world want my designs.
My designs heavily feature nature, wildlife and birds. In particular British nature as I am a bit of a twitcher and wildlife geek. I support the People's Trust for Endangered species and hope to bring more awareness about our endangered species, here in the UK.
I also collaborated with Filofax which saw two Filofax ranges with my designs and name on in shops nationwide and available on the internet to the world. My products have also featured in Vogue UK as well as at annual trade shows.
I am looking forward to expanding my stationery business over the next year. I have many paper-based plans!
