My Buzz
Winning #SBS in January 2012 has had a tremendous effect on my business. I have been on BBC Radio Northampton talking about starting a business, had Local Press Coverage and have written guest blogs about my business for a few websites.
It has given me the confidence I was lacking to shout about Wood and Willow from the rooftops!
My Bio
I started Wood and Willow following redundancy from a Sales and Marketing position in a Boutique Hotel last March. I received no package so it was a case of find another job or do something myself! With 6 children between myself and husband Neil our lives are pretty busy and Hotel jobs often involve shift work so I chose to take the plunge and be my own boss!
By the end of October 2011 Wood and Willow was born and if I had thought I knew what hard work was being in the Hotel Industry for over 20 years what a shock I had coming!
I put my heart and soul into developing Wood and Willow and I love every moment, and I work every moment I can. This is my "baby" and I am totally obsessed by it and not ashamed to admit it!
I am now championing British Handmade products and have dedicated UK Handmade Pages showcasing the very best the UK has to offer. My goal for 2012 is for the site to sell only British Products by the end of this year.
