My Glasses Club

Hi I'm Scott and I'm the founder of My Glasses Club. I just thought this would be a great opportunity to introduce myself and also to tell you what got me into setting up this business in the first place.

So I live in Richmond North Yorkshire with my wife Anneka and our son Emerson. And usually during the week I will either be in our office in Richmond which is where we are now or I'll travel down to Manchester which is where we do a lot of dispensing at our secondary office.

So I started My Glasses Club because prescription glasses are so expensive. And being an online shopper myself I couldn’t find anywhere selling glasses and giving me the service I had come to expect from my local high street optician. So I wanted to set up a really fun, colourful and easy way for people to buy prescription glasses online and to have all the same reassurances you get on the high street.

So all of our glasses come with free 12 month cover against breakage and theft which is someone no one else is doing. We also donate a pair of glasses whenever someone buys a pair of glasses on our website and I think that is a fundamental benefit to joining our club.

There are so many other things I could talk about, like our free delivery, 365 day returns policy and the fact that you can pay your glasses off monthly with 0% interest. Really what I am trying to get across is that we are positioning ourselves as offering as much value as we can to the optics market and giving customers not just what they want but MORE than what they want.
