My Buzz
Having reached a significant birthday last year I decided to go back to college and learn something new. In January I enrolled on a ‘Social Media for Business’ course and over a ten week period learnt enough to enable our company to take the social media leap.
My biggest buzz has been becoming an #SBS winner after only five attempts. My teacher is very proud!
My Bio
An opportunity arrived in 1999 and our family moved to Cornwall and we haven’t looked back. I work with a great team of people and enjoy going into work each day. I am a Director of MKM Extrusions with responsibility for the ISO9001 Quality Standard and 14001 Environmental Standard. We place huge emphasis on the wellbeing of our staff and work life balance and are proud to have achieved Investors in People Gold.
We manufacture plastic extrusions around the clock and our customers come from all industries. Sectors include refurbishment, construction, shopfitting, lighting, signs, acoustics, technology, transport, events and exhibitions. Cornwall is near to everywhere with a little bit of help from our carriers and we despatch all over the UK and Europe each day.
We have a stock range of almost 600 profiles and also produce custom profiles with on-site die making facilities. We continuously strive to improve to ensure that our products reach our customers in the fastest time possible, in the highest quality and with the least environmental impact.
My Business Tips
