My Buzz

Just myself, sewing in a shed for a couple of years trying to make it work. I then joined the world of Twitter and incredibly got chosen by Theo as a #sbs winner - now it isn't just myself sewing in a shed but instead I have a world of friends, colleagues and contacts at my fingertips! #SBS has given me confidence, belief and sales!!

My Bio

Kindred Rose was created because of a love of textiles, and a desire to create beautiful keepsakes for children and adults alike!

I love to collect fabrics old and new, and I like to experiment mixing traditional and retro fabrics and styles, resulting in an eclectic range of home decorations. I pride myself in handmaking all my products to a very high standard.

My workshop is a shed in the garden overlooking the beautiful devon countryside where a lot of my inspiration comes from. I share this idyll with my husband, two children (who are the namesakes of the business - Eli Kindred & Lauren Rose), two cats, two chickens and a fish!

Slowly but surely I am being featured in the press; Ideal Home, Devon Life and Vogue. Also This Morning and 60 Minute Makeover have used my products in house makeovers.
