TransferMate offers businesses a payment portal for sending and receiving International Payments. Within this portal we can offer multiple options to exchange currency at the current rate or for instance a variable flexible spot contract which holds an exchange rate for several months.
On a daily basis we save business money when they send or receive international payments. This has allowed us to transfer over €5 billion, to put this in perspective you could buy 100 Gareth Bale’s for €5 billion or 50 Airbus A380’s.
Our business constantly incorporates innovative approaches to provide our clients with an award winning service. As a result we have become a preferred payment partner with Sage, Sap, Quickbooks, Xero and MYOB. Additionally we have partnered with some of the largest organisations in the world which includes CPAmerica, Australian Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Carpenter Box.
My Bio
Terry is the co-founder of TransferMate. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Terry formulated the taxback.com business concept while working in Germany as a student. He remains the innovator and driver of the Taxback Group to its present global market leader position and has launched several other successful companies. In 2009 Terry was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Ireland.
Sinead is a co-founder of TransferMate with 20 years’ experience in senior manager roles within financial services. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, England and Wales including a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland. Having trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1996. She spent 10 years of her professional career with PwC and was Accounting Technical and Risk Management Leader across 2 of their UK financial services offices. Sinead has played a crucial role in securing the global regulation for TransferMate and managing it’s financial and risk management framework.
Barry is a co-founder of TransferMate with over 10 years’ experience with payments and online business. Barry has managed the business growth strategy for TransferMate since its inception and played a critical role in the development of the online system in his capacity as managing director.
Prior to TransferMate Barry co-founded a global travel visa business.

3. PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE I started paying into a pension at 27; I believe employers could do more to encourage a future-savings mind-set.
