My Buzz
We are so thrilled to become a #sbs winner, and only after the second week of entering! The support and exposure has been absolutely amazing and we look forward to learning from you all and becoming part of the #sbs family. We are still in the whirlwind of trying to respond to our new twitter followers and retweeters and it's such a buzz waking up and seeing what the next day brings as a #sbs winner!
My Bio
The Handprint Carving Co. was born in August 2015 and is run by Holly and Pete. Run from a small Warwickshire in workshop we specialise in baby handprint keepsakes in solid oak.
After our son was born we were disappointed at the quality of other baby keepsakes on the market and wanted to create something truly beautiful that can be handed down through the generations.
Pete has a background in classical guitar making and furniture making and restoring. Has has combined these skills with the latest 3D technologies and has designed truly innovative products for the baby market.
Holly trained as a dancer and is also known as 'Tombliboo OO' from the CBeebies Tv show 'In The Night Garden'.
Bringing our products from concept to market has been a long, challenging road but becoming a #sbs winner has made us even more determined to try as hard as we can to make our small family run business flourish and be a success. We are creating new products to produce in our workshop and look forward to sharing them with you all.
My Business Tips
When you feel like giving up . . don't !
Don't feel bad about boring your friends when all you talk about is your business to them (but do shut up at some point and let them talk!)
Listen to advice from people but do go with your gut instinct.
