My twitter feed has been filled with well wishers and new followers since the win. The traffic to the website has gone up and we've already had lots of interest and additional orders for our personalised gifts and large format printing deals for small businesses. It's also had a positive impact on our other social media reach. Looking forward to the weeks and months ahead - we'll keep you updated.
Alfie Moon Designs was founded in 2015 by me, Christine and my husband Julian Brown. Working from a small office and studio in the Shropshire town of Bridgnorth, we design and make character-led gifts, which can be personalised for special occasions. We also cater for the corporate market, designing , printing and producing marketing, merchandise and promotional items for small businesses. How did Alfie Moon Designs come about - "I have always loved designing and making things. I particularly take my inspiration from everything around me – the beautiful countryside we live in, British wildlife and most of all my cats. Having worked in a corporate environment for over 20 years, I felt the time was right to use that experience to run a creative business, doing the things I love every-day and getting to work with my husband! We have expanded our retail business to work with other small businesses - designing and producing personalised merchandise, business stationery and large format printing e.g. banners. The great thing is we will still get to be creative every day and get to meet some fantastic people along the way.
Our top tip is: Never forget that the customer is king. Always design and ‘make’ with them in mind. Great customer service will not only guarantee repeat business but word of mouth recommendations are priceless.
