My Buzz

Little Sandbox provides a safe space for kids interested in computing and design technology to create, code and build games, apps and programmes.
An interest in tech can be a lonely thing. Little Sandbox gets kids out of their bedrooms and into a social environment to collaborate with other kids, learn from professionals and further their skills.
Children are the future. And so is Technology. We bring the two together.

My Bio

After 6 years working in the Music Industry in London, I returned home to Liverpool and changed my career. I started working as a play worker and then moved to the local Council for Voluntary Service working for a youth participation programme. I started running the website and designing all their flyers and posters and then moved into a communications role. Due to funding cuts I was made redundant and decided to start a social enterprise, providing affordable digital marketing services to the third sector. Little Sandbox was started through a grant from BBC Children in Need and supported by the Big Lottery Awards for All. We now run 4 club sessions a week and plan to open expand across the region.
