We're a team of award winning graphic designers offering design and branding solutions creatively,
realistically and effectively.
We're a straight talking bunch with a no-nonsense approach to business. That means we don't
flower things up with marketing buzz words, we don't over complicate - we just keep it simple.
We cover all elements of design from identity development or logo creation to print production or
website build and maintenance.
My Bio
Design Pit started life as a small limited company based out of a spare bedroom at my parents' house in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I'd just come back from travelling and after taking a couple of freelance placements I decided that the time was right to work for myself. I had a rough plan in my head of what I wanted it to be like. The first month in business was a frightening experience but Design Pit is now 5 years old and it's amazing to think of how far we have come as a business in that time. When I set up the business in 2012 I had no idea where it would take me, but here I am 60 months on, still thinking creatively, still designing and wondering where this journey in business will take me next?
My Business Tips
My favourite tip must be "work hard and play hard?"! As a business owner, you need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up, get stuck in and work hard, really hard to reap the rewards of owning your own business. They'll be bad times and good times but as a business owner you must be prepared to ride the wave. YOU are the business and its down to you to make it great.
