Running a small business can be a roller coaster ride of ups and downs - winning #SBS and getting recognition from a business leader like Theo Paphitis was a real boost, we must be doing something right!
My Bio
A year ago I took the BIG step of giving up my 'day' job as a teacher to concentrate full time on my growing business, designing and producing high quality stationery, greeting cards, gift wrap and more. I've never looked back.
The business is growing, the product range expanding and can now be found in circa 400 high quality independent gift shops across the UK (and a few beyond these shores!) Running dots and spots is exciting, rewarding, tiring, occasionally frightening but I absolutely love every minute of it!
My Business Tips
Slow and steady wins the race! Don’t be taken in by what others around you are doing, do what’s right for you and your business. It’s so easy on twitter and Facebook to see others doing this or that or getting orders from here and there and start questioning what you are doing. Take notice but stay true to what you want to do and at the pace you need to work at.
