My Buzz
I am thrilled to have been selected as one of Theo's winners and i'm looking forward to getting to know the other winners and meet Theo in February!
Having a son called Miller we don't find his name on anything in the shops, so its amazing to be able to make lots of things for him and other children just like him as well as personalised gifts for special occasions.
My Bio
I'm Natalie, wife and mum to 2 young boys, Charlie 7 and Miller 4.
I started Pretty Little Personalised after maternity leave when Charlie was 1. With my husband working long hours 6 days a week and no family that could help with child care I wasn't able to return to work.
I tried a couple of small ideas before starting up Pretty Little Personalised. I began with literally a laptop and a printer, designing and selling a range of prints. I invested any money I made back into the business to buy more equipment and learn new skills to help widen my product range.
Fast forward 6 years and I have learnt many new skills and invested in a lot of new machinery to help produce a wide range of personalised gifts.
My Business Tips
Always aim high! Set your goals and then work out how you are going to meet them!
Most importantly don't ever forget why you started your own business.
For me its my family, I want to give them a better life, so the late nights and stressful days are all worth it, knowing i'm doing it for them.
