Hi I'm Angela, designer/maker at AAM Jewellery.

My jewellery making journey started from a desire to find a creative outlet. I took a class at the Craft Centre in the Northern Quarter, Manchester, and became completely hooked!

I’m predominately self-taught and inspiration for my designs comes from various sources but mostly just everyday life, from the flora and fauna of surrounding countryside to the shapes and forms of beautiful city architecture. I can even get inspired whilst stuck in traffic on the M60 if something interesting catches my eye!

My style would probably be described as contemporary…clean lines, flowing forms, symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes, although I can veer off on a tangent sometimes and end up with something completely different to what was originally envisaged!

Each item of jewellery is designed and handmade by me and individually fabricated from sterling silver, fine silver or gold. I also like to incorporate gemstones to add a little splash or colour. My pieces are hallmarked, as appropriate, by the London Assay Office. (Some smaller items falling within the weight exemptions may not be hallmarked to keep costs down).

All my materials and gemstones are acquired from long standing, trusted suppliers within the industry.

I try to keep my packaging as environmentally friendly as possible whilst still being able to protect the items during transit and provide a lovely end experience for the purchaser.
