My Buzz

I was really excited to win #sbs on 16th October 2011. The win not only increased my business profile but boosted my confidence and belief in my business idea - recycling used sails into beautiful new things. I continue to build on this endorsement and visitors to my website are impressed to learn that buoys and girls won #sbs Thank you Theo!

My Bio

I launched buoys and girls in the summer of 2010. Based on the Isle of Wight, we design and hand-make unique accessories for the home or away, using authentic recycled sails. We are proud to be an Eco business!
Our designs are perfect for Coastal Interiors, for those who love seaside living and all who love anything Nautical!
2011 was a great year for us with the launch of our website and receiving recognition from a well known entrepreneur like Theo Paphitis with our #sbs win! - This meant not only an increase in traffic to our on-line store but to business enquiries too! Country Life magazine also featured our business during the year with an editorial feature about our products. They also advertised our products in their suggested Gift Ideas for Christmas 2011. This was also a fantastic boost to our presence in the marketplace nationally. You can look us up at Country Life online where we are listed in the Classified ads each week under Interiors, Luxury Living & Luxury Gifts!
We are looking forward to 2012 as we are launching some new products into our range, and have great hopes for our growth and success during this year!
Although every item is unique, we are happy to customise designs for our customers.
