Educate, entertain and engage your growing child with our simple, age-appropriate activity cards available in nine age-appropriate packs catering for babies from birth right through to school-ready five year olds.
Busy Brains Activity Packs was set up at the end of 2019 by former deputy headteacher and mum, Lauren.
"I wanted to make the ideas accessible to all so I was conscious to create activities that could be done in a relatively small space, using items found in the home.
I made sure to include a range of different types of play in every pack (creative, physical, musical, literacy, numeracy, social and scientific) to ensure all areas of the brain were stimulated, the whole of the Early Years curriculum was covered and they'd appeal to a wide range of interests.
I also realised that some parents have time to prepare activities in advance, whilst others want something that they can pick up and do on the go - so I tried to include a mix of both. What's more, I know how expensive children can be so it was important to me that every idea should be something that can be repeated and enjoyed again and again.
Since launching, I've been blown away with the positive feedback and I am so delighted to know the cards are helping parents all over the world."

Hello! I’m Lauren, creator of Busy Brains Activity Packs - age-appropriate, play based activity ideas for parents of babies, toddlers and children under five.
Prior to starting the business I was a primary school deputy head teacher. Very motivated, I loved my job and never expected to do anything but work in schools. However, after having my own children, I realised how tough spending day after day at home with young children could be! Far harder than a day in the classroom! So, to help other parents, I used my educational experience and hundreds of research articles to create a resource that would make those long days easier - Busy Brains Activity Packs was born! My aim was to give parents a pack of simple, educational ideas for ways to play and engage with their little ones from birth to five.
