My Bio
I grew up in a small village in south northants , in those days using what the countryside provided was part and parcel of living, hedgerows farming and foraging. very little got wasted hence my passion for chutneys and preserves started.
I had a 30 year career in transport and management from class 1 driver to transport manager , 3 years ago i gave that up to follow my passion, it wasnt easy and has been a hard road but i never gave in.
we hit covid and wow that stopped me in my tracks we lost all our hospitality venues. however that didnt stop me. i went to help a freind in his bakery and then came back to friars and since then have opened 2 new busineses one making cheese and the other charcuterie, all in our purpose built unit
My Business Tips
the one thing I've learnt is never give in, you will always get some people who knock you and what your doing. take on board constructive criticism and never turn away the offers of legitimate help.
