Susan Rose China

Susan Rose China started from very humble beginnings in a garage with a hobby kiln, English Bone China from Stoke on Trent and a few ceramic prints.

It has grown into a partnership with Susan’s husband Charles employing six people and located in a purpose built design studio in Northamptonshire and workshop in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

In the early days Susan hand painted each piece of china. This proved very labour intensive so new technology was embraced and one of the first digital ceramic printers in the UK was purchased.

With a reliable source of English Bone China using Susan’s own moulds we are now able to produce multiple pieces of china of a consistent quality and the business has grown.

Our china is made and decorated in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent where we have a workshop equipped with 2 screen presses, 2 digital printers and 4 kilns. On the retail side we produce two ranges of products ; Bespoke and Personalised.

Bespoke orders involve Susan creating a unique piece of artwork which is applied to the china.

Personalised orders start life in the same way with a beautiful piece of Susan’s artwork which is then tailored to the customers needs with the addition of personalised text.

Our corporate clients can take advantage of the flexibility of digital ceramic printing for smaller numbers or complicated images.

For larger orders we are able to produce our own films to generate templates using our screen presses.
