Riverford Farm Shops Ltd

Riverford Farm Foods is the product of Ben Watson’s enthusiasm for food in general and charcuterie in particular. He started developing his skills in butchery, curing hams and bacon and making pies and sausages from pigs raised on our Devon family farm in 1984. From a converted garage and occasional farm gate sales the business has grown over 28 years to three farm shops and an extensive production kitchen. The shops offer a wide range of groceries but are unusual in producing the majority of these products on the farm, contributing to Riverford’s justifiable reputation for being the “real thing”.
