So far #SBS has turned my quiet evening into an exciting one! Looking forward to finding out what opportunities it has to offer.
We started our business in 2003 after running the farm part-time for 7 years, after buying our permanent base 'Rosewood Farm', the farm & business both take their name from the Rosewood herd of pedigree Dexter cattle, established in 1996 and still the mainstay of our business. We now supply beef, lamb & pork throughout the UK and non-perishable products worldwide. In 2011 our environmental policies led to our beating Nestle in York for the title of 'Think Green Business of the Year'.
Stay focussed and keep trying; our business is far from easy and we are bucking the trend as young farmers starting from scratch with limited capital, so determination is the most important quality to have.
