Started from small beginnings in her kitchen in Cornwall, Karen now makes lampshades, cushions and soy candles. Concentrating mainly on a coastal theme, Karen's aim is to make houses beautiful with her contemporary styling.
My Bio
Just Bunting was set up in April 2011 by Karen Davey, working from her home in Cornwall. The business rapidly took off, and Karen now sells handmade bunting, bespoke lampshades, beautiful cushions and fabric canvas pictures through her website, various retail outlets and online boutiques. In 2014, she changed the name to Karen Davey Contemporary Home Furnishings to reflect the expanding nature of her handmade products.
With her friend and business partner Sarah, Karen set up a craft co-operative in the nearby town of Wadebridge in Cornwall called Winifred and Mabel, named after their grandmothers. It is now a thriving handmade artisan gift shop and accommodates around 20 of the finest handmade businesses in Cornwall.
In 2016, Karen added another line to her business and started making eco soy candles. Karen is now selling through various outlets across Cornwall and is hoping to expand into the UK and beyond.
