My Bio
Barrington Ayre Shirtmaker & Tailor is a luxury Made in England bespoke & made to order clothing company. After working in a tailors in London many years ago, I set up Barrington Ayre after moving to the countryside around 7 years ago. Initially we started making bespoke shirts but over the years our customers asked us to make all of their clouting including their suits, country clothing and casual wear and so we gee into a full tailor providing every item of clothing available.
Our clothing is worn by the likes of Dan Walker on BBC Football Focus, Robbie Savage, Anton du Beke, Greg James the Radio 1 DJ, David 'Bumble' Lloyd on Sky TV and Michael Vaughan the ex England cricketer and pundit.
Our visiting tailoring service is available throughout the UK and we make clothing for people all over the World who are proud to wear the Made in England label.
My Business Tips
Don't let reality destroy your dreams. Anything is possible as long as you believe it yourself and your product. Don't be scared of setting up your company, I set up Barrington Ayre initially working in the evenings and weekends whilst holding down a full time job so that I could self fund, so you don't need lots of money to get something off the ground and with the internet there are so many routes to market that don't have to cost a fortune.
