I started my career with U.S owned Fortune 200 company ITW, receiving enterprise level early in career training alongside MBA and DiPC education to formalise my experience in consultancy projects. I am a full practicing member of the Institute of Consulting after previously being associated at Affiliate and Associate levels. I have worked in many countries conducting consultancy projects including China, America, Western and Eastern Europe. In this time I have worked with many Blue Chip companies including McDonalds, Tesco, KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut and Vauxhall.
Small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) are the backbone of the UK economy. In a paper published by the House of Commons library, there are 5.9 million SME’s in the UK and this number is up by 200,000 compared to 2018. Many entrepreneurs enter the market with excellent product and industry experience, but owning, managing and growing a small business requires many skills that need to be learnt over time. It's okay not to know everything all of the time, but it is an excellent skill to know when to ask for help.
