Bibbilyboo

Hello from Mum of two, Katie!  I created Bibbilyboo when my second child presented as another human fountain, by which I mean that she dribbled so profusely that we used 20 bibs a day, along with many wet outfit changes.

We needed a solution and having worked in the medical research industry for a decade, I decided to put my research skills to good use and to develop a bib that could tackle all of the problems I was facing, with an aim to;

- Last the day with great absorbency

- Prevent dribble rashes

- Fully protect clothes from becoming wet

- Grow with my child, to save money

- Compliment an outfit, rather than ruin it

With a lot of passion and determination, I taught myself to sew and created bibs that even shocked me, when i realised they worked so well!  Before I knew it, I was making them for friends and then one day a paying request came in and we decided to launch a business.

The website went live on my Daughters' first birthday as a tribute to her being the inspiration and we had our first sale 27 minutes later from a complete stranger who had been watching our story documented on instagram. It was a wonderful moment to know i had reached another parent in need and they would soon see their dribble dramas resolved! This customer went on to order from me several times, filling me with confidence!

Since then Bibbilyboo has won 26 awards from all of the best recognised baby industry bodies, including Mother & Baby Awards, Junior Design Award, Loved By Parents Award and more!

In 2024 we also began our journey working with a factory after having personally sewn 64,000 bibs myself and this has enabled me to dip my toes into wholesale, which I am now looking to grow, building greater brand awareness and expanding our product range in 2025!
