I love designing flower bouquets and arrangements and seeing my customers smile when they collect from my shop. I work with fresh, dried, silk and even soap flowers and constantly evolve new seasonal designs in my shop.
I am a mother of three who has always wanted to run my own florist. My partner in life and in business (Scott) helped me realise that dream. He believed in me and after a successful trial selling campaign on Etsy, he helped me finance the move into my first actual florist shop as soon as we existed the Covid lockdown. In less than a year, we have grown and are about to enter a larger retail unit in Romford, Essex. My small business is not only a winner with Theo's SBS Project, but I have also been shortlisted into the final of Havering Council's Small Business Awards 2021/22 in the Best Shopfront category. I am humbled by all the accolades and it just demonstrates that if you work hard, anything is possible.
1. Never be afraid to experiment and try new ideas.
2. Involve your customers in everything you do and give back when you can, as they are your life blood in business and the best free sales person you could ever wish for, if you keep them happy.
3. Be positive and bold.
