It has to be noted that I am a Christmas nut! I love it! I am the person that goes completely over the top with decorations, outings, food etc. I adore the season and all it means.

For a joke birthday gift in September 2013, I received a gift of 10kg of glitter from my Step-Dad Charlie. 10kg is a LOT of glitter. I was set the challenge of making something out of it. I was always doing crafty things - scrapbooking, taking photos, making gifts for family and friends.

I made a set of Christmas baubles for myself, posted it to social media and received so much interest from family and friends that by December the same year, I decided to set up my little business.  That first year of making them, I sold out! I worked full time as an Insurance Claims Manager during the day and then worked all night on my little business. Here was something that was so fun to make, really tangible and my passion for Christmas was able to be expressed. I finally felt I was achieving something and had found my calling.

The following year, was much the same but I sold out again and then the following year I took a leap of faith and quit my day job! I felt so free!

It's now Christmas 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days long in my house! I sell baubles all year round, have specialist products during other seasons and it's my full time career. I feel so incredibly blessed to be doing what I do and enjoying it so much.

2024 is my 11th year of making baubles and I still get excited at every new one I make!
