What is PAT Testing?
The inspection and testing of electrical equipment are primarily governed by the Electricity at Works regulations of 1989. Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) refers to the thorough examination of electrical appliances and equipment to verify their safety for use.
While visual inspection can identify most electrical safety defects, certain types of defects can only be uncovered through testing.

Hello! I'm Ryan, owner of RJ PAT Testing.
What started off as a hobby has now evolved into a full-time family run business.
October 2022 I decided to take a different route in life and begin my journey as a full-time PAT Tester. Me and my partner had our first child in the summer of 2022 so I wanted to be around more and have more flexibility. I'm an experienced Facilities Manager which I absolutely love doing but it's a very demanding job.
With the love & support from my partner it gave me the courage to start my own business. It's the best decision I've ever made and it's so much better for my mental health.
We sponsor a local non-league men's football club Coventry United which play in the United Counties League. We regularly network with other sponsors of the club. The club now has teams of the ages under 21's and under 18's which is great for the local community.
