Trackside Focus is a brand by The Photographic Adventure Company Ltd, a family run photographic tour operator specialising in luxury and exclusive motorsport photography workshops and holidays, both in the UK and across the globe. Our passion for motorsport fuels everything we do. Our mission is to inspire photographers to embrace the unknown, create unforgettable memories, and share their unique stories with the world.
We offer exclusive motorsport photography workshops and holidays that cater towards those with an aptitude and passion for learning We run exclusive and one-of-a-kind motorsport photography workshops in the UK and globally. Our luxury photography workshops are all led by industry leading motorsport photographers and are designed to enhance skills and creativity in the ultimate luxury learning environment.
We are committed to providing the highest standard of learning and education. We are passionate about supporting and promoting amateur photographers and providing them with a platform for learning and recognition. Our mission is to create a community of amateur motorsport photographers!
My Bio
Having a background in photography since 2016, Trackside Focus / The Photographic Adventure Company Ltd was founded in 2023 by Greg (founder and CEO) as a means to provide amateur photographers with a platform for learning, adventure and memorable experiences.
Between 2016 - 2023 Greg worked as a photographer. During that time, he photographed a variety of different areas from motorsport to school photography assignments. Greg has also previously worked in roles at some of the UK's leading photographic and video companies.
In 2022, Greg left London and moved to North Wales to be closer to the outdoors and adventure lifestyle he enjoys. In 2023, Greg suffered from some severe back pains, which still continue to this day, that put an end to any photography work. No longer being able to just bounce up mountains like previously and no longer feeling as physically strong to work the demanding and often strenuous lifestyle of a freelance photographer, he started to think about how he could still combine his passion and love for the outdoors, adventure, motorsport and photography. That is when The Photographic Adventure Company Ltd was born.
Drawing on his many years of experience within the photography industry, Greg set up the business offering photography workshops and holidays. The Photographic Adventure Company, later re-branded to Trackside Focus is a business born out of a genuine love and passion for motorsport, photography and travel.
The decision to rebrand to Trackside Focus happened in December 2024 when Greg made a decision to focus his attention solely on offering motorsport photography workshops and holidays.
My Business Tips
Business success is best achieved through collaboration and working together. I have really been learning this as I continue to grow Trackside Focus. In my case, it is working with photographers, photography partners and other businesses, whether that be hotels or suppliers. Building strong and honest relationships with all of these is a crucial part of my business and I believe for any business. A collaborative environment is extremely important for business success along with the ability to bring people on board to share your vision and ideas.
