I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been named as a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year category. This recognition is a significant milestone for my business, and testament to the commitment and hard work in creating a space where celebrations can be good for the planet and people!
The business was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to eliminate plastic waste associated with parties. From edible and compostable tableware to reusable decorations and party bags, I want to help everyone celebrate responsibly without harming the planet, and in a way that doesn’t compromise on quality or style.
Being recognised in the Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year category is particularly meaningful. It underlines the importance of my work in addressing one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time – our oceans and landfills are overflowing with plastic waste, and the need for sustainable solutions has never been greater. The Great British Entrepreneur Awards celebrate the hard work, creativity, and resilience of entrepreneurs across the UK, and being part of such an amazing list of finalists is genuinely humbling.
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support from our small business sellers and, of course, our customers, as well as supporting organisations. As we move forward, this recognition will serve as a powerful motivator to continue innovating and expanding our range of plastic-free party supplies.
