Small business coach, consultant, and recent #SBS Winner Dave Rogers, aka The Business Explorer, recently took to the red dot at TEDx Wolverhampton to highlight one of the most underrated business superpowers: asking better questions.
In a talk titled “The Power in Asking Better Questions”, Dave explored how curiosity can ignite creativity, boost productivity, and transform how people navigate challenges. Drawing on decades of experience across FTSE firms and founder-led businesses, Dave brought energy, insight, and storytelling flair to the stage.
“There’s a real magic that happens when you stop trying to have all the answers, and instead start asking better questions,” says Dave. “It’s not about being the smartest person in the room. It’s about unlocking the brilliance around you.”
Blending lessons from the hospitality industry with behavioural psychology, Dave’s talk inspired the audience to rethink how they lead, communicate, and grow.
Away from the TEDx stage, Dave continues to support businesses through his coaching and consultancy business, Fuelled, Fit and Fired Up. He helps people create exceptional experiences for their teams and customers without the jargon or overwhelm.
